We introduced extra sessions targeting processes of assessment and feedback, and tightened the existing procedures in relation to turnover of feedback for essays.

There was concern that our BSc Environmental Management was not very different from BSc Geography, and we have introduced a new compulsory module for BSc Environmental Management 'Environmental Management in Organisations' which will allow that student group to gain associate membership of the professional body Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
The Department of History, Classics and Archaeology held a PGT options fair in June 2015 to give continuing students (and applicants for admission in Autumn 2015) information about module choices available for the following year. By all accounts this was greatly welcomed by students. This will be repeated in June 2016, and another BA fair will also take place.

We introduced a new programme of fieldtrips, so that students have more chances to go on fieldtrips abroad and there is now a field weekend in October for all students on BSc Geography and BSc Environmental Management.
