Image library

Birkbeck has an image library on Flickr, which you are welcome to use to add images to your publicity.

In order to get access to the image library, you need to:

1. Create a Yahoo userid (if you haven't already
2. Email the Communications team to request access (please provide your Yahoo username).

If you are using images for the web, you must crop them to the correct size and optimise them for web use (ie. save them for web purposes). If you don't do this, you will slow the Birkbeck site down, as non-optimised images take up a lot of web space.

Please don't upload images to the web if you don't know how to crop and optimise them. All schools and departments have staff responsible for managing websites. Please contact them for support in the first instance.
