Examples of Team Birkbeck roles
- As a Team Birkbeck student, you are able to work on a number of different and exciting projects that take place both at Birkbeck and further afield.
- Here are just some of the ways you can get involved:
- Assist at events such as Open Evenings, UCAS conventions and Offer Days - welcoming visitors, answering prospective student enquiries and offering general logistical support.
- Deliver campus tours.
- Facilitate workshops and presentations to secondary schools and FE colleges.
- Feature in promotional videos, sharing your Birkbeck experience with both fellow and prospective students.
- Represent the College at any other events and activities that occur during the year.

Information for staff
Hiring Team Birkbeck
- Staff are able to request Team Birkbeck for their activities.
- Departments will be charged for using the service at the rate of £10.58 per hour per Team Birkbeck Student.
- If you wish to use this service, please email Andy Stirups with the following information:
- Event or activity name and a brief overview
- Date and time of the event or activity
- Number of Team Birkbeck Students required
- Which types of students are needed (i.e. undergraduate, postgraduate, international)
- Any specific skills required
- Number of hours they will be required to work (please note that shifts will need to be at least two hours in length)
- Dress Code
- All requests must closely follow the main duties of the position as listed in the job description and must be made at least two weeks in advance.
- Students will have received extensive training at the start of the academic year. However, you are able to give them additional training if a specific role is required.
